Her loving, caring, and cheerful attitude brought a smile to everyone’s face and lifted their hearts.
In April 2011, at age 25, Sara Marie Chase Duffany was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Just 6 months later, on October 1, 2011, Sara passed from her illness. Sara’s wish in life was to leave a lasting impression on the world, her final wish was to always be remembered by those she loved.

Our School
The curriculum is designed around New York State common core standards to enable each student to achieve their maximum potential and is continually upgraded to include a variety of innovations. By limiting class size, we are able to accommodate multi-age learning activities and provide individualized attention. Our faculty members are selected for their adherence to The Sara Marie School’s educational philosophy.
Students are encouraged to actively participate in the learning process and parents are expected to facilitate their child’s progress by supporting school policy, especially in the areas of attendance, conduct, homework and the dress code. Family members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, both during the school day and after school hours.
The Sara Marie School does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of admission and educational programs.
